This is now the final week of Genius Hour project. Ill be honest I have not been the best or smartest with keeping up with my blogs, but I have been doing the physical part of my project and doing all of my own workouts at home and the weight training class I am taking. With the blogs it is hard to come up with things to write about on them or think of what I should write since usually I end up doing the same thing every week. The workouts in my weight training class does not really change much the only things that will change are how many reps with do for something or the hoe much weight we put on the bar on the workouts we are doing. I am not a fan of any upper body things I do like leg day and just any waist and down workouts. I will do ab workouts when we are done with the main workouts. The goalI have been very happy with myself with how this project has gone. I had set some goals for myself and I not only did I hit some but I did go even more then what I had planned for myself. I had some struggles along the way but those struggles only have made it for me to work harder and not let myself fail at what I am doing. Over some of the breaks I have worked out at home and done stuff at home to not let myself fall since I will usually use the equipment that is in the female weight training room. I was able to hit the new goals that I set for myself from what I already hit. I did struggle a little while doing the 135 pound squat but I was able to at least hit it. I will have videos of both of them but I will say in the 135 pound one I did struggle a little but I will keep working on it even after this project ends.

I can gladly say that I have reached two of my goals. I was able to squat the 95 pounds I have been reaching for and more! I was able to reach up to 115 when I added two other 10 pounds and well I am very proud of myself for hitting something farther then what I had planned out. I set a new goal for myself which is to squat 135 pounds. I have also done higher then what I expected for my deadlift and I was able to hit 105 and go up to 115 as well and now I want to set myself up for 125 and I will make sure to update the blog if I hit those two new goals. We have to still do the mile run and the sit and reach for the final stuff. The goals I hit still aren't part of the final max that we have to do. I hope to by the days of the final max to have the goals I have set for completed and I will feel a lot better about myself for that. I have had some struggles in the way but I think that letting my negative emotions being let go while working out has been very helpful. I have honestly has a hard time keeping up with the blogs since I have had other things going on but I am at least trying my best to update as many as I can. I want to get higher in the sit and reach to see how much more I have stretched those muscles in my legs and body than the first time. I will be putting pictures of the sit and reach chart that we have to keep in folders to keep up with what we have been doing and we have that for everything that we have done. I will have videos of me doing the squats and also with the deadlift. I want to be able to feel very proud of me for how much work and focus I have been doing and that I could balance that with everything else.
For the past few days I have been very busy and not focused into this project as I am supposed to be doing. I had a family death and it has been a bit hard to find myself to focus into this like I want to. I don't like to stress myself over these things what so ever but dealing with something so big is really hard and seeing other family members have a hard time and not being lifted as they usually are makes it even harder to find something positive for me to stay focused. When my own family who I live with is not in the good fun spirited mood as always and are down over this big things it is not easy to be around that energy. I have tried my best to find the best and positive side to anything so I won't stay in a not happy mood to be able to engage better into this project. I have done my best and tried to give more of my energy into the female weight training class. The class does help me out a lot on brining out any negative stuff out of my mind and it helps me feel a lot more relived and focused. I of course have not been in the best mood so far but the class does help me out a lot. I of course will keep trying to bring out the best of me in that class because I don't want to fail or let myself fail in anyway. I will make a new goal to let myself out there and give my all to be able to reach those goals I have had. The last weeks I have of this projects I will make the best of it,
